I never ever like to give bad reviews and I wanted to love this place. We came to eat with our son and from the very beginning our waitress Rocio was very stern, unpleasant and borderline mean. I would say thank you and she would say umm. Never "you are welcome". The other table got free chips, she never offered us! I had to send my skinny margarita back bc the glass had a huge chip on the rim and I usually like to taste the salt rim with my finger and I almost got cut; she didn't seem happy with me asking for a new drink!!!!!! Like I could have cut myself and she didn't apologize. My husband's snapper filet although tasty had over 10 bones in it, not well cleaned. When the check came she overcharged a third beer which my husband did not have, she insidted he did and we insisted she check the camera which she didn't! Also our party was three people, why would they automatically charge 18%????? We always tip over 20% and don't want anyone to impose our tip! We gave her 7% over the 18% to show her that although we are Hispanic, she needs to treat us well and with respect. Delicious elotes. I think the owner and other businesses in the area should talk to the city about opening up the road blocks connecting th restaurant to 9th avenue though. It is hard to get here without a car as a local resident and it's odd Mclean Blvd was designed to be separate from all the residents in the surrounding area. There should be a walkway and walk light opened for pedestrians to enjoy this restaurant. As well as sidewalks along the businesses. A petition should be started because this is something residents want to access easily.

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Feels warm and welcoming. The staff was on point. I loved the frozen margarita, strong and perfect consistency. I would definitely come back the food was very authentic. Yass

We have been going here since they were just a small establishment. We have enjoyed watching them grow. We went tonight July 10th to celebrate our 39 yr anniversary and it’s even better since they remodeled. The food was perfect and the server was exceptional (Andre). 10 out of 10
